2016美洲杯篮球：
美洲杯篮球是每年一度的国际篮球比赛，由美洲篮球协会(FIBA Americas)主办。2016年的比赛于2016年8月31日至9月18日在巴西举行，共设有16支参赛队。
比赛的淘汰赛分为3个组，每个组4支球队，每个组的前2支球队将晋级八强赛。八强赛采取四轮积分比赛的方式进行，每个组各自产生一支半决赛参赛球队，决赛由两支球队进行，冠军由取得最多积分的球队获得。
参赛球队包括：巴西、阿根廷、乌拉圭、古巴、哥伦比亚、玻利维亚、墨西哥、智利、厄瓜多尔、巴拿马、海地、美国、巴哈马、牙买加、委内瑞拉、古巴。
2016年美洲杯篮球冠军由巴西队夺得，第二名是哥伦比亚队，第三名是美国队。
